Therapy materials for the Complexity Approach
Kluster Kidz is a collection of fun, targeted, evidence-based practice therapy materials for speech-language pathologists in the treatment of complex phonological clusters. Through a theme-based song, booklet, games, story making, and lively corresponding characters, the children practice their identified two and three-element clusters (blends). The basic materials are available individually or as a kit for children aged 3 to 8 years.
Besides the benefit for speech articulation, this program can also be used in regular preschools and general education classrooms. The kits can support speech, language and spelling skills for these children and provide targeted materials for the teacher. The use of music and rhyme can help children learn how we blend and combine sounds to create words. The song for the movement break also supports children’s sustained attention and speech and language skills.
These targeted materials include songs, booklets that correspond to the songs, lively characters representing each cluster, games and supporting materials that:
- Save the speech-language pathologist time by providing already made materials targeting exactly the desired cluster
- Use evidence-based best practices to support the learning of the targets through song, movement, auditory stimulation, and stories.
Come explore the exciting world of the “Kluster Kidz” as they meet various sea and land creatures while supporting your child’s speech and language development!
